10A · Joints

High voltage pre-fabricated single piece and three piece joint with Heat shrink Re-jacketing or Copper Casing or Coffin Box or Heavy Duty (Copper Casing and Coffin Box), both in-line or shield break are designed for voltages up to 550 kV and to operate under severe environmental conditions.

10A1 :: Heat Shrinkable Joint up to 72 kV

TE Connectivity (TE), Raychem Heat Shrink Joint (EHVS-H) is based on a heat shrink design for voltage classes up to 72.5 kV. Polymeric insulated cables of various designs can be adapted with respect to shielding and metal sheath.

10A2 :: Pre-frabicated Single Piece Joint up to 245 kV

The joint is a pre-fabricated one-piece design for voltage classes up to 245 kV. Polymeric insulated cables of various designs can be adapted with respect to shielding and metal sheath. The silicone rubber joint body with integrated geometrical stress control, provides proven electrical function. The joint components combine electrical performance, stress control and moisture sealing to provide the important functions required for all high voltage products.

10A3 :: Pre-frabicated Three Piece Joint up to 245 kV

The joint is a pre-fabricated three piece design for voltage classes up to 550 kV. Polymeric insulated cables of various designs can be adapted with respect to shielding and metal sheath. The joint components combine electrical performance, stress control, and moisture sealing to provide the important functions required for all high voltage products.

10A4 :: Dry Plug-in Inner Cone Joint up to 145 kV

TE Connectivity’s (TE) Raychem Dry High Voltage Plug-in Inner Cone Joints PHVJ are designed for up to 145 kV voltage offshore and onshore applications. Our Raychem PHVJ joints are compatible with EPR and XLPE cables, independent of the manufacturer, and can be adapted to the grounding required for various cable constructions. The complete system consists of the epoxy insulator part and the plug-in parts.

10A5 :: Transition joint for Single-Core LPOF – XLPE Cable up to 170 kV

The different versions of the transition joint are designed for operating voltage from 72.5 up to 170 kV and connect a single-core oil-filled cable with a single-core XLPE cable.
