The materials used in Raychem cable accessories have been extensively optimized for design and function, manufacturing and the wide range of possible service environments.
05A1 :: Heat-Shrinkable Terminations up to 42 kV
TE Connectivity’s (TE) Raychem IXSU-F/OXSU-F has a recently formulated electrical stress control compound that is based on extensive experience with Raychem ceramic semiconductor technology. The ZnO-based stress control system is integrated in heat-shrinkable insulating tubing. This stress control system fills any irregularities, bonds to the insulation and provides superb electrical performance.
05A2 :: Screened Separable Terminations for bushing type “C” up to 42 kV
TE Connectivity’s (TE) Raychem Screened separable T-connectors RSTI are designed to connect single and three-core polymeric cables to medium voltage gas insulated switchgear and other equipment using bushings type “C” (EN50180/EN50181) specified for 630/1250A up to 42 kV.
05A3 :: Screened Separable Terminations for bushing type “B” up to 36 kV
TE’s RSES are designed to connect polymeric cables to medium voltage gas insulated switchgears, transformers or motors which are using bushings type “B” according to EN 50180/EN 50181 specified for 400 A continuous current. The RSES connectors are compliant with CENELEC HD 629.1 S2 02/2006+A1:2008.
05A4 :: Screened Separable Terminations for bushing type “A” up to 24 kV
TE’s Raychem Screened Elbow and Straight Separable connectors RSES/RSSS are designed to connect single-core polymeric cables to medium voltage gas insulated switchgears and other equipments using bushings type “A” (according to EN 50180/EN 50181) specified for 250A continuous current. The RSES and RSSS connectors are compliant with CENELEC HD 629.1 S2 02/2006+A1:2008. and tested for a system voltage up to 24 kV.
05A5 :: Plug-In Terminations up to 52 kV
Plug-In Terminations for connections to switchgear and transformers with inner cone bushing size 2 (800 A) and size 3 (1250 A) acc. To EN50180/EN50181. Available for system voltage from 12 to 52 kV.
05A6 :: Insulating Terminations for bushing type “C” up to 24 kV
TE Connectivity’s (TE) Raychem insulating adapter RICS (630 A) is for the connection on outer cone bushings Type C according to EN-50181. It is compatible with all Raychem terminations and can thus be used to connect any type of cable, irrespective of whether it is paper or plastic insulated or has one or three cores.
05A7 :: Cold-Shrinkable Terminations up to 42 kV
TE Connectivity’s (TE) Raychem Pre-Expanded elastomeric medium voltage terminations for indoor and outdoor applications
for single core polymeric cables up to 42 kV.
