The pilot project of Aerial Bundled Cables (ABC) of the Electrical Authority of Cyprus was completed successfully.

ENIA S.A. undertook the materials and equipment supply as well as the compilation of the “Code of Practice” and the training of EAC technical crews for the pilot installation of 10km of ABC networks.

As a first stage ENIA’s engineers provided theoretical training to EAC’s technicians on the implementation of ABC networks and the correct application of the components. Then and under ENIA’s supervision ABC networks were erected by EAC’s technical teams in all four districts of Cyprus.

ENIA will continue to support the implementation of ABC networks and the replacement of bare conductors low voltage aerial networks at Cyprus.
